Editing
There are two ways I can edit your manuscript: I can copyedit or I can proofread. Proofreading takes less time and costs less, but copyediting is more in-depth and helpful. The table below explains the differences:
Copyediting | Proofreading | |
---|---|---|
Spelling & grammar | X | X |
Style | X | |
Awkward wording and sentence flow | X | |
Transitions | X | |
Continuity | X | |
Inconsistencies and plot holes | X | |
Double-check formatting | X | X |
In-depth reading | X | |
Reading quickly to find obvious errors | X |
How This Works
After you fill out the form, I'll send you an email. You'll send me back a 500-word section of your manuscript. I will give you a sample copyedit and a sample proofreading (of the same section), and I'll tell you which one I think you need. You can decide from there.
Pricing
Price for copyediting is $1 for every 100 words.
Price for proofreading is $0.50 for every 100 words.
